Any Variety Imported Breed Register (Hound) - Good Citizen Dog Scheme DogEntries: 2
1. Schumann Des Vallees Longeronnaises avec Caelestibleu (Mr C Middleton) Basset Bleu de Gascogne. Presented in good body and condition with coat that is dense an in bloom. Balanced and typical in head firm outline, to well placed tail and strength in quarters. Has type on the go round.

2. The Dottie Line Deus Ar Maen Glas avec Caelestibleu (Mr C Middleton) Basset Bleu de Gascogne. 9 month with that charm that draws one in an at 9 month she does her job well, holding all together. Solid, sound with shape and femininity. No problem, easily covering the ground on the move.

2. Mabelle D'an Naoned avec Caelestibleu (Mr C Middleton) Basset Bleu de Gascogne.Firm standing and not loosing her shape on the move.
After all 4 of our Bleus qualified during 2022 and early 2023 we had the absolute pleasure of entering and showing them at this years Crufts!
A great entry for the imports all round and some big classes for them all with every entry turning up. The biggest Import Hound entry and the biggest ever Basset Bleu entry of 17!
First in the ring in Good Citizen Dog was Schumann (Schumann Des Vallees Longeronnaises Avec Caelestibleu) super boy who was placed 1st. Nothing in the dog challenge but he was a star as always.
Then it was Dottie's turn (The Dottie Line Deus Ar Maen Glas Avec Caelestibleu) in Puppy Bitch. A strong class with a line up of girls I just personally adore. Dottie was awarded 2nd place!
Next was Florence (Serenade Des Vallees Longeronnaises Avec Caelestibleu) in Post Graduate Bitch. The biggest class of the day with 14 entries. Nothing for Florence but she had a great time and behaved impeccably.
Finally it was Caroline's turn to handle Mabelle (Mabelle d'an Noaned Avec Caelestibleu) in Good Citizen Bitch where she was placed 2nd.
We lost count of how many people stopped to ask about the breed and meet the dogs, all 4 of ours definitely promoted the breed well!
We were also able to collect Florence's award for Top Basset Bleu de Gascogne Puppy 2022.

Crufts 2024 Results
All 5 of our Bleus qualified for Crufts during 2023 and we again had the pleasure of entering and showing them at Crufts again!
Another good entry for the imports all round and some big classes with 14 Basset Bleu de Gascognes entered.
First in the ring at at his first ever Crufts was Elvis (Rasteau De La Foret D'aurix Avec Caelestibleu) who placed 2nd in Post Graduate Dog.
Nest in Good Citizen Dog was Schumann (Schumann Des Vallees Longeronnaises Avec Caelestibleu) super boy who was placed 1st. In the Challenge for Best Dog he was awarded Reserve Best Dog!!
Then it was onto the bitch claases were Dottie (The Dottie Line Deus Ar Maen Glas Avec Caelestibleu) was unplaced in a strong Post Graduate Bitch class.
Next was Florence (Serenade Des Vallees Longeronnaises Avec Caelestibleu) in Limt Bitch just 12 weeks after the puppies were born. Florence placed 1st and went on to be awarded Reserve Best Bitch!!
Finally it was Caroline's turn to handle Mabelle (Mabelle d'an Noaned Avec Caelestibleu) again in Good Citizen Bitch where she was placed 1st! Superb handling from Caroline in both the class and the bitch challenge.
Another great year with so many people stopping to ask about the breed. This year we had stickers to give out to the kids and business cards to hand out for all those interested in learning more about the breed. We are happy to say we gave out over 250 cards in one single day.
We may not make it to Crufts 2025 but we hope to get there and have another fun filled day.
